Although not generally recommended, the client
software can be installed on the server computer. This
configuration might be useful when evaluating the
software, or for performing administration tasks at the
server computer.To do this follow the instructions for
installing
server software but select both client and server
components on the Select Components page. The
Communications page will be slightly different, as shown
below. Note that the default local port is altered to
avoid a collision with the server's port setting.
