Attributes are useful for categorizing files.

Attributes are created and applied to files using the attribute wizard, accessed from the 'New' option on the toolbar. This wizard gives step by step instructions to create an attribute and optionally apply it to files.

Attributes are created in the Admin repository. By selecting an attribute definition in CXInsight and selecting the 'View' tab a list of files with the attribute will be shown.
