Image preview
Image files can be previewed directly in the user interface. Differences between
two revisions can be viewed side by side to observe changes. CodeMatrix supports
over 90 image file formats including platform specific formats.

Recovery from accidental
data loss
Unlike some systems
CodeMatrix will never discard changes you have made. For example if you change a
checked out file and then uncheckout the change the changed file is saved on the
server. Similarly if you remove a checked out file from source control the changed file is saved.
Transactional
updates
Any update operation may be executed in a transaction. Failure of any update
operation will cause a rollback (undo) of the previous updates
in the transaction.
Support for offline working
A disconnected user can work on files in a workspace even when
not connected to the server, e.g. when travelling.
Resynchronization with the server is automatic. (Requires enterprise edition).
Command line
interface
A comprehensive command line interface is provided for scripting
interfaces or users that prefer the command line environment.

Snapshot backups can be taken without locking or stopping the
