CodeMatrix licensing requires one client license per
computer on which the software is installed. Use the
cx license
command to see how many client licenses (CALs) are
installed and available.
When a CodeMatrix client connects to the server for the
first time one client license is consumed and an entry
placed in the //Admin/Clients folder. The following
example shows a system with 7 client licenses in use. The
names indicate the network name of the client computer.
 If a client license
is no longer needed the CodeMatrix software should be
removed from the client computer and the license entry
deleted from the list above. This frees the license for
another computer.
The client database entry also record client workspace
state information, so deleting a
client entry for an in use client will have undesirable
results.
